| Michelle Candido is the girl who does this spectacular bridgework. She's Miss Philippines California, otherwise known as Binibining Pilipinas California. She combines all the good qualities of a Filipina and a California girl, which makes her a many-faceted gem. |
| Let's name a few good qualities. She's lovely to behold, as you have already beheld. She does a wonderful Tahitian dance, perhaps because Tahiti is midway between the Philippines and California. She's sensible, studying to be a clinical pharmacist while treating pageants as a "hobby." She's a devout Christian, a girl who likes to talk about other pageant competitors -- about how nice they are. | ![]() |
