Some girls really do have it all. When you're Miss Teen America, that's a requirement.

Girls seeking this title have to compete across the board -- beauty, brains, poise, character, fitness. They're in a league of their own.

The winner is a superior being. She's the kind of girl you could take to the symphony, to the ballgame, to Grandma's house. She's the person you would ask for answers if you wanted to cheat on that really difficult test. And she's the one who would tell you that cheating is wrong. (You should have known that already.)

Miss Teen America 2005 is Meghan Whitney Bryan, a dark-haired dynamo from North Carolina. She's only 17, but she has been making her mark in pageants for years. She was Miss Jr. Teen America 2003. (The "double crown" is yet another remarkable attribute for this girl.)

Ms. Bryan is a beauty queen, an excellent student, a cheerleader, a role model. She's also a warmhearted person. We can testify to that. And you can see that's just lovely, like an ingénue in a William Inge play.

But, gosh, we're so forlorn. We wanted to show you a swimsuit photo of this girl, and we don't have one. We feel that we should have one. This is Miss Teen America, and you are the world. You deserve to see her in a swimsuit. One-piece, two-piece, anything. But no such picture has arrived at PNB.

Don't get on our case about this, folks. It hurts us more than it hurts you. (We feel like we're in one of those annoying headache commercials.) But we couldn't wait any longer to tell you about Ms. Bryan.

If we finally get that swimsuit picture, we will post it immediately -- after we throw a party.
