Who would have thought that a magazine with pictures of men would be a hit among pageant fans? Get used to it. Glamour Backstage is unsurpassed in the pageant world in its elegant look and its wide-ranging focus.
It's not all men. Metromedia, the magazine's publisher, produces Manhunt International, so there are plenty of male models in GB's pages. But the reporting on women's pageants is extensive, and the beautiful ladies are on display in full color, just like the guys. Unlike many pageant publications, GB has the look of a fashion magazine. It's slick in the best sense, and well edited. Its coverage of Singaporean and other Asian pageants is especially interesting. GB should appeal to those who like good-looking women, good-looking men or just a good-looking magazine.
